To coincide with the 19th anniversary of her and Grant Hill’s wedding day, Tamia releases “Today I Do” as the second single from her forthcoming album and a follow up to the uptempo first single “Leave It Smokin‘”. Written intentionally with weddings in mind, Tamia partners the perfect visuals with the song–actual footage from the couple’s special day in 1999. Recently, they appeared on the second season of the OWN show Black Love highlighting moments of their life together.

About the song Tamia says, “I went into the studio with Lil’ Ronnie and Sickpen with the intention of writing a wedding song. I envisioned a bride walking down the aisle. A wedding day is such a special moment in people’s lives and I wanted to write a song that could soundtrack that moment. The power of a love song never dies. It’s timeless.”

In addition, Tamia is also excited to announce the 23-city “Passion Like Fire Tour” which kicks off September 18 in Cleveland, OH, at the House of Blues and culminates October 26 in Brooklyn, NY, at the Kings Theatre. The tour will crisscross over the country making stops in Los Angeles, Nashville, Chicago, Houston, and more. For more information log onto www.tamiaworld.com.
