Grown Folks Music chopped it up with Ralph Tresvant via Instagram Live to talk about his new single, “All Mine” featuring Johnny Gill [out now] and his upcoming solo project. Tresvant says his new music is grown folks music [we like to hear that] full of the love songs he’s known for, but as a student of socially conscious artists like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder he plans to address what is going on presently in society in some of his music as well.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
