Yes you and I seen’t it with our own eyes, or if you haven’t check out the clip below of the reunion of The Deele! Yes, that Deele with those guys, who are responsible for a large portion of the wellspring of modern Black Popular Music flows from. Not that The Deele needed to prove anything to anyone, their legacy in my opinion is quite in tact but man do they have it – the energy, the moves, the coordination of the stage, showmanship, musicianship I could go on… suffice to say that’s how you put on a show!

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.

Two Occasions was my cut!
I had this very album! And I had to order it from the UK (about 15yrs ago) because there were none in the US. And my f*¢¥* brother in-law borrowed and lost it!
