Get It Up, the debut single from The Time, now known as The Original 7ven, was probably a song a youngster like myself shouldn’t have been singing. As far as I was concerned it had a nice groove with the heavy bass guitar, a pop feel with the funky synthesizers and had some of the coolest and attractively arrogant dudes playing together. In later learning the meaning of this tune, I definitely knew why I couldn’t sing this at the school talent show. 🙂 LOL!! Here is the timeless party starter, Get It Up!
