#Growns we couldn’t think of a better way to get you Saturday than on the good foot courtesy of “Make It On My Own” from Wanderers the funky duo of Dusty Stephensen – Guitar/ Vocals and Matt Birkin – Drums/ Vocals hailing from down under. Fresh off their first ever American Tour and NYC debut for the Mondo Music and Tech Conference(which is in its 4th year that friend to GFM, Fiona Bloom of The Bloom Effect is a part of and it’s only growing bigger).
Described as the Neville Brothers meets Average White Band with shades of Elvis Costello and Jamiriquoi thrown in, Wanderers bring together the blend of Rock and Soul in a very infectious way as evidenced by “Make It On My Own”.
Recently the Adelaide-based duo released a series of videos featuring performances with their
formidable, live six-piece band. Whilst only a glimpse into their energetic and enthralling live show,
there’s a clear bond that tells of their time spent touring the world and playing in front of large
adoring crowds.
Recorded live at Wundenbergs Studio, Thebarton SA the performance was filmed by Morgan Sette
and edited by Morgan Sette & Ryan Sahb.
