Yes technically when you say Sade your speaking about the entire group as opposed to just Ms. Adu but specifics aside the unmistakable vocal stylings of one Helen Folasade Adu are up close and personal here on “Flower Of The Universe” from the A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack. With producer No I.D., Sade has crafted a contemplative, expansive sonic landscape that feels like a superb fit for the Disney cine play directed by Ava DuVernay.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
