About Rhonda Nicole
Rhonda Nicole is an LA-based R&B/Soul singer and songwriter(ASCAP) who began penning her own songs at the age of 12. Born and raised in Dallas, TX on a healthy mix of her mama’s Motown, her daddy’s New Orleans jazz, and the contemporary sounds on FM radio. Rhonda Nicole’s music reflects those early influences and her affinity for Minneapolis funk, 80’s pop, and soul-filled, bluesy rock.
Rhonda Nicole’s 2010 release Nuda Veritas is southern soul at its finest. Her 2010 release, Radical Ecstasy brings dance and electronica to her original R&B tunes. Her latest EP Home offers a fresh take on alternative R&B and ol’ school quiet storm jams. She plans to release her first full-length album Love & Water in 2021.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
