#Growns who follow the GFM Facebook Page know that we’ve been riding with and trippin’ off Spice Adams for a minute. Not that this is Spice’s first rodeo on “Bridging The Gap” side of the game, but I really felt the need after laughing here at the ol’ desk that this needed to be posted on GFM proper.
You know the deal, someone hears a musical break that has been sampled and they don’t have the frame of reference for the original so they launch into what came after and are often perplexed. Spice takes that concept to a whole new level here. Amaredda.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
