Wanted to take just a few lines today to pay tribute to a singer’s singer: Ms. Linda Rondstadt. Upon hearing the news of her battle with Parkinson’s disease and how it is has left her unable to sing, I paused and reflected on how much her sound, her music was a part of my formative years. Ms. Rondstadt served as a teacher for me if you will because in three separate phases of her career she introduced me to music of different eras and even different cultures. All the while interpreting those songs with that pristine voice, so clear and pitch perfect.
So today I just wanted to place a few songs here for the fam and to send the most well-wishes to Ms. Rondstadt in her bout with Parkinson’s.
