#SoulfulSaturday Remembers “The Beautiful Experience” <3
2 years ago on this day, the world lost a musical genius. A legend, even an icon some would call him. Multi-instrumentalist Prince Rogers Nelson left his mark on the music world tremendously, with his exceptional (elegant) style and stage presence. With some still shaken, Prince’s innovative musical craft greatly affected individuals from around the globe. #SoulfulSaturday pays homage to this profound musical genius.
“The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” was the lead single from his 1994 release, The Beautiful Experience. Topping the charts in various countries, the gold-selling single became a national hit for Prince. Shortly after, a remixed version of the track was re-released on Prince’s next album entitled The Gold Experience. Renditions have been covered by other notable artists, including Bruno Mars and Raheem The Dream. The track would also be Prince’s last Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit.
