#Growns we wanted to get you up on some new music on the younger Trap Soul grown side of the game from Tyler Dumont. Tyler was formerly a finalist on MTV’s P. Diddy’s Making The Band 3. Her new single “Don’t Mean It,” is produced by Cardi B’s producers SwanQuo and Josh X.
“Don’t Mean It,” is the first song released from Tyler’s forthcoming project Nomadic Behavior set for release in late Spring 2019. #Growns Tyler has weaved together a relatable story whereby she states
“Don’t mean it is about the turmoil and hardships we encounter in relationships everyday and expressing things we don’t mean.”
The video directed by Johnny Frost features dramatic scenes capturing the fiery tension between Tyler and her lover portrayed by actor, Donovan Christie Jr.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
