Hi-Five had a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B chart with “I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)” an upbeat, radio-friendly song about young love from the group’s debut album Hi-Five produced by Teddy Riley. Unfortunately lead singer Tony Thompson died in 2007 at just 31 years of age.

Monica, thank you for your comment and compliment. Teddy Riley is a name that we don’t mind mentioning often here at GFM because as you said, he is a music legend and has been involved in so much of the music we love. If you liked this post, then stay tuned this weekend for a pre-planned post that also involves Mr. Riley. Thanks again for your support.
