Modern-throwback girl group The Shindellas raise the value of the musical landscape with a new song called “Money”. The sound is reminiscent of music legends like The Pointer Sisters, The Clark Sisters, and The Andrew Sisters and will be featured on their debut album Hits That Stick Like Grits out this year.
The Shindellas consist of members Kasi Jones, Stacy Johnson, and Tamara Chauniece, The group was formed by Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony under the belief that when women come together, powerful change can happen. The Shindellas are advocates aligned under the tenets of sisterhood, excellence, elegance, and empowerment. With a hint of nostalgia as well as modern appeal, the music pulls the listener in with every note that the ladies sing. Check out “Money”.
