Yet another death in the hip hop community. MC Breed collapsed Saturday during a basketball game with friends. Best known for his track with Tupac “I Gotta Get Mine,” the Flint, MI native was a beloved member of the hip hop community.
In a statement to AllHipHop.com , his family released the following:
“We are saddened by our great loss. More than just an artist, we mourn the loss of a beloved father, son, broker, and friend. We are overwhelmed by the tremendous outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We are thankful and blessed to have been in his presence and want him to be remembered for his creative, caring, talented and hardworking spirit.”
