Grown Folks Music recently had the opportunity to speak with the Floacist about her upcoming release, “The Floacist: Floetry Rebirth”. During our conversation, she discusses everything from the inspiration for the pointed track “Soul” to her favorite artists. The Floacist also discusses why Octavia Butler is her favorite author and which childhood past time she still enjoys to this day. Listen in to find out why she says that the doors to Floetry are always open to former group member Marsha Ambrosius, and hear her thoughts on the unforeseen elements of the music industry.
