Fam members we wanted to get the word out about the latest single from great friend to GFM Tim Dillinger. “(Go Back) To The Old Time Way” taken from Tim’s project The Baton 1985 is an homage to the way we used to praise but don’t think for a moment the music is wrapped up in a package of old…
no, the production is every bit 2014 with a great turn from Steffin Phifer on rhyme duties here. However, the message is clear: the tradition, the old time way did not require most of the accouterments that many feel are vital to today’s version of praise and worship. Quite simply Tim reminds us that often all we need is a good clap, a foot stop, a desire to lift our voice and the heart of a worshipper. I couldn’t agree more.
