Join GFM’s own Love Man, DJ Polished Solid, and Chris Aguilar-Garcia as we discuss the 30th anniversary of one of the best debut albums ever recorded, the eponymous Wendy and Lisa.
In this episode we get down to the get down of who Wendy & Lisa are and their contributions from Purple Rain through Parade and technically Sign O’ The Times. DJ Polished reminds us that her preferred method of order is Lisa & Wendy as Lisa Coleman had joined Prince’s band a few years prior in 1980 replacing Gayle Champman on keys and just in time for Dirty Mind. Wendy joins the group just before a little film and album known as Purple Rain.

But the tenor of this podcast really concerns itself the incredible musicianship and contributions of Wendy & Lisa in their own right.Their 5 album releases, work on movie soundtracks, touring and production work for other artists. So join us for this great discussion on an equally great debut!
