Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
Is it just me or does Estelle have a new “smile” – if you know what I mean. She really looks great in this video and I have to give it up to her shoe game. Love the heels. In listening to this song, it sounds like “American Boy”. I don’t know if it’s the same chord progression or maybe similar instrumentation used in the production. If I had my choice between the Nas and John Legend mix, I gotta give it to the John Legend version.
