Usher needs to get on his knees and thank Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for this song. I was getting a bit frustrated with the previous song releases on this album. They all felt like he was trying to woo a teenage audience instead of showing growth. Paraphrasing my man, Jay-Z, “You a grown man! What you trying to do date a 16-year-old?!?” Personally I think Usher needs to be coaching cats not copying them. I just hope this album shows growth, maturity and confidence – not an artist trying to find his audience. Anyway, this song is pretty hot in my opinion. Tell us whatchu think?

I couldn’t agree more!!!
One of the things that always tell people is to find me a Jam and Lewis track where they say on the track that this is Jam and Lewis. You certainly can identify the sound as Jam and Lewis but they never wasted time promoting themselves by talking all over their music, they let the music speak for itself. I wish more people would follow their example.
You’re right!! Jam and Lewis just have that musical marriage that brings out the best in their artists. They don’t get caught up in the fanfare of “I’m a producer but I wanna to be star” syndrome. When a producer comes with that mindset, you hear it in their production. With Jam and Lewis, it’s all about the artist. They would have been perfect as the main producers on this project.
Thank you so much for posting this! This is what I expect to hear from Usher, someone of his ability should never settle for some of the sub-par material that he has worked with recently. I’m going to keep it 100 and say he might need to get on a plane, camp out for a while with Jimmy and Terry, and see what that does for the career. This is music right here.
