I meant to post this last week, but in the midst of the madness, it fell off my radar. Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of legendary photographer Jim Marshall. He was best known for capturing some of Rock & Roll’s most unforgettable images, including those of Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, The Who, Ray Charles and The Beatles. More recently, he’s blessed John Mayer, Lenny Kravitz and Ben Harper with his gift.
He was influential to many photographers and his work will live on through his vast collection. Special thanks to Dusty Wright for sharing the last interview and gallery tour he conducted with us. Check it out after the jump and follow Dusty on twitter here.
