I’ve had the pleasure of following funk-jazz flutist, Jef Kearns with singles like “On the Level” and “Play On”. I’ve found his sound to resonant a lighthearted soul that can get you through a rough day or soothe the mind with the perfectly complimented Riesling. In Kearns latest single, Saturday’s End, from his sophomore album, Soulfisticated, you’re sure to find that similar branded feel that will carry you into your weekend. While I’ve been known to appreciate Kearns’ video direction and creative animation, this video didn’t particularly catch my attention as his other creations but despite the visual content, Saturday’s End definitely holds its own in catching your ear.
