Looking back on my years of being a band geek in high school, I’m can definitely say I’m grateful for the experience. While we learned the basics of an eighth note and a quarter note, we also learned to appreciate the distinctive difference of various instruments. I’ve always known the flute as a whimsical instrument. It can carry a feathery tone that flies beautifully as the melody or smooth and accent the rough edges of more assertive tones. In the video On The Level, Jef Kearn brings colors of a soothing jazz feel against a soulful canvas that mix in a thoughtful way. Also, I really appreciated the use of animation in this video. Very refreshing to see. To get more from Jef, check out his official website at http://www.jefkearns.com
