Wanted to put up a triple play today of one of my favorite web series brought to you by G Koop & O-man. What I love about their approach to music making is that in my opinion they put the music first. You have to put the time and the homework in just to even get to the level where you understand how important it is just to respect the music. As a viewer, their respect for the process of music making is very evident and the results they get I believe are a direct product of that perspective. Enjoy! Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
