Today I wanted to post three of my favorite clips from one of my all time favorite songs. Written by Hoagy Carmichael this song is the definition of a classic composition. Enjoy!
Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.

You are certainly welcome! Yeah that clip of The Spencer Davis Group is one of my favorites. I am always blown away about how young those guys were playing like that.
Always love and respect Ray Charles’ signature version but WOW The Spencer Davis Group version is AWESOME! Put their own spin on it. That was beautiful had me rocking in my chair. I have to play that again. Thanks.
