Haunting and powerful is the latest story set to music from Carl Brister. I use the phraseology “story set to music” because what “Trauma” posits is beyond just song form. No distractions, piano and vocals are just what’s needed to get the message in this across.
“I wrote this song from a depth within that, for years, fear would not allow me to explore. My hope is that it will empower those who have gone through the darkness of trauma to let their light shine like never before. And may it never be dimmed.” – Carl
Song written, produced, and performed by – Carl Brister
Video: Directed by Andre “Crazy One” Griffith for C1 Media
Actors (in order of appearance): Myles Lewis and Justin Brister
