This Thursday November 13, at Guitar Center in Union Square, 6:30pm it’s time to get down to the business of music. This is the kickoff to a series of panel discussion that will be making sense of the dollars associated with the business of music. Bradd Marquis(whom we’ve featured here on GFM) will be one of the featured panelists. Bradd is fresh off his video shoot for the third as yet undisclosed single from Thank Youwhich he shot in Jersey this past weekend. If you are in Philly this weekend Bradd will be at World Café Live Saturday- 8PM – Nov 15th – on a double bill w/Tara Hendricks.
Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
