#Growns we wanted to put you up on Hero The Band a group from Georgia composed of four blood-related brothers. Their single “Give It Away” has been receiving some well-deserved recognition and they’ve just released the accompanying visuals which are currently in mtvU’s Freshman Competition!
Their upcoming album Bleach is slated for release on March 1st, and its 16 tracks are dedicated to the notion that relationships are all well and good, but love can be found in many different ways. Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
