If you ever find yourself in need of a laugh to lift your spirits march right over to the You Tube channel of The Legion of Rock Stars. They have covered every pop hit in the universe it seems as well as some Classic TV Theme Songs like the clip above. When I say they are awful it is the best kind of awful imaginable. You know it’s great to have some other voices out there poking fun at our collective nostalgia. Truth be told there are some people out there playing right now who aren’t too much better than the these guys. Enjoy! Well, you know what I mean.
Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
