“Justify My Love” by Madonna was based on a poem written by her friend Ingrid Chavez. Madonna added some lines to the song and Lenny Kravitz wrote the hook and produced the song. The video was quite racy for its time and was even banned by MTV, however, the ABC news program Nightline aired the video followed by an interview with Madonna. The video went on to be a best-selling VHS video single release.
