Well my alter-ego(The Love Man) was somewhat inspired last night to do a little test run using the Mixlr platform. I played a few tunes from the GFM sweet spot(The 1990’s) and aside from a few glitches on my end I had a great time and I’m really looking forward to using the platform again as well as transitioning some of our offerings(The GFM Lounge, The Inside The Album Podcast and whatever else we come up with)to the world of live broadcasting. Keep it locked here as we will post and promote some upcoming events that you can tune into live.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
