Been working to catch up on a few episodes that I missed from The Combat Jack Show and what a great one I was able to check out last night so now I’m sharing with you. DJ Prince Paul has been a long time favorite for me ever since I heard his name during the Stetsasonic days(which were great days filled with great music I may add) and of course his groundbreaking work with De La Soul just sealed the deal.

Ivan Orr is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and writer. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia Ivan was involved with the forming and nascent days of The Music Resource Center as its first Program Director. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan currently resides in Richmond, VA where he maintains an active performance and production schedule while serving as the Music Editor for Grown Folks Music, a position he has held since 2010.
