I could say a lot of things about this song but in all my attempts, I’ve been speechless in word but full in indescribable emotion. “I Love the Lord” was a song used for the movie, “The Preacher’s Wife” however its beauty surpasses its inclusion for a 90 minute film. Whitney Houston is completely in her gospel roots with this beautifully composed song from Richard Smallwood and dramatic sounds of the Georgia Mass Choir. The best way to describe this piece is to see God’s face and be completely overwhelmed by His magnificence.
