Our song today takes us all the way back to 1958 and finds our AOM and the rest of the group in fine form. This is Doo Wop, a continuation another innovation along the continuum. Do you hear the sound of that room? Do you hear the sound of the city? That’s where music comes from… outside, the street, this is street corner harmony, the place where all of the musical trends have been birthed in this country. I’d personally like to thank George and The Parliaments for reminding me today that if I really want to know what’s going on with music that I learn a lot more bypassing the academy and heading to the corner.
