A few weeks ago we brought you a great interview from Miss Special and Myk Blauuw with GFM fave Nicolay. You can checkout that out here. Today Miss Special and Myk Blauuw are back with a great chat with Northern California singer/songwriter Ant Chedda.
Ant Chedda has a great new project out entitled Homie, Lover, Friend which is an homage to 90′s R&B through his use of snippets from that era to construct a sonic 90′s vibe(pun intended we’re talking about the 90′s you know). This marriage of eras I feel is GFM all day everyday and if I haven’t already said it publicly, I have a feeling that we will start to see a lot more artists venturing down this path that Ant Chedda has chosen.

A few weeks ago on the (then) #WordToWoodrow radio show, we had singer Ant Chedda in studio where we got to talk with him about his newest project “Homie Lover Friend”. We spoke with him about the project as far as the reason behind the r&b snippets he used from the 90′s, working with Uptown Swuite, the vision behind his song “I Can’t Say I Love You” and the concept story of the project including the connection to the movie Kill Bill. We also spoke about working with Moe Green, the vision behind his song “Last To Know” including the connection to the show Sex And The City and the movie Knocked Up, an upcoming music video for his song “The Night” with C- Plus and JoEL, and what’s next for him.
