Song of the Day: The Original 7ven (Formerly – The Time) – “Gigolos Get Lonely Too”
Known for their brass bed fantasies and ice cream dreams, this song is a sharp left from the indulgent escapades of The Original 7, formally The Time. The very thought of “settling down” would make a normal gigolo shutter at the mere mention of such a thing. However, with their sexy and sophisticated blend of funk and R&B on this classic Prince track, Gigolos Get Lonely Too from their 1982 release What Time Is It?, The Original 7 can make the toughest player reconsider their bachelorhood.
