If you’ve ever watched the reality television series, R&B Divas, on Monday nights (10/9C) on TV One you already know the Grammy-nominated songstress and composer, Syleena Johnson is “a boss” so it should come as no surprise that “the boss” is back with Acoustic Soul Sessions, a digital LIVE mini-CD on Shanachie Entertainment released today. As an enthusiastic supporter of live shows and music, the very thought of Johnson’s powerful vocals being showcased on a live CD is a real motivator. Captured in Chicago’s CRC Recording Studios before an intimate studio audience, Acoustic Soul Sessions will highlight an organic sound which will feature a special guest appearance with R&B recording artist Tweet and have songs like “Angry Girl”, “The Rolling Stone”, “Little Things” and an introduction to the follow up album, Chapter 6, yet to be released.
