BRAD SHARP is “Coming Home” for a special concert at the Henrico Theatre
|
It has been several years since professional singer/songwriter Brad Sharp has graced the stage in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia, and he will return to the beautifully restored Henrico Theatre in Highland Springs (305 East 9 Mile Road) for a concert on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 7:30pm.
The Henrico Theatre rests on the very street Brad grew up, and he will deliver that hometown flavor by performing original music from his acclaimed CD Old Man: The Luna Sessions and his upcoming release The Other Side, as well as familiar song covers that everyone loves from Stevie Wonder, Elvis, and other successful acts from the Richmond area (Jason Mraz, Elliot Yamin, D’Angelo and more).

Brad will make this concert a family affair. His wife, acclaimed television/film actress Keesha Sharp, (Girlfriends, Are We There Yet? and Why Did I Get Married?) will join him on stage for a performance. Keesha and Brad met in Richmond, VA where he also proposed to her in song near Brown’s Island over the James River.
Additionally, each ticket holder will receive a gift — a free copy of his full-length CD. Accompanying Brad during his soulful performance will be a band from New York City led by Nate Smith (Michael Jackson, Betty Carter, Mos Def, Dave Holland). During this exciting concert, Brad will also premiere the music video to his newly released song “Anniversary Song”.
