GFM Classroom – Bill Evans on the Creative Process
I’m trying to stay true to one of my 2011 initiatives which is “Teach your(our) children Well…” and of course by children I mean the young and the young at heart. I am constantly on a quest to learn something new or to approach learning in a different way. As I laid out in a previous article the knowledge is out there for the taking it really is, you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort.
I will be posting videos like the above from time to time as part of a “classroom” series so that the idea of learning/teaching can become an active part of what we do here at GFM. To get the full benefit of these types of videos you have to constantly return to them

Ivan Orr is a musician/social critic whose creative output runs the gamut from provocative to entertaining. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Music, Ivan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music(Jazz Studies Emphasis) with a minor in African American Studies. During the 1990’s and early 2000’s Ivan was involved with The Music Resource Center in Charlottesville, VA.
