What is there to say about this record except it has the right title. The song is guaranteed to heat up those special evenings and the video warms things up without going too far and leaves the ending of the story up to imagination of the viewer. Enjoy.

Now in watching the Love Connection video from Raheem DeVaughn’s upcoming album, A Place Called Loveland, I can say it’s a pretty safe video. I don’t say that to be cynical or downplay the presentation. I’m simply stating that the video could have really upped the ante from a creative standpoint and played on the obvious “connection” with the 1980’s game show “Love Connection”. It would have been great to see a loosely based video that showed a comedic or playfully sensual enactment of Raheem making a love connection with three beautiful bachelorettes and seeing which girl would be the lucky one. From a brand perspective, it gives your audience another side to your creativity and presents a more memorable visual for his first single. What do you think? Do you think the video is too safe? Could it have used a different approach?
